According to Variety, Brad Pitt has signed on to Quentin Tarantino’s movie about the Manson Family murders, which will come out on the 50th anniversary of the day of the LaBianca murders . Brad will play Cliff Booth, the longtime stuntman for western actor Rick Dalton, played by Leonardo DiCaprio . Brad was rumored to be in talks for a role as a detective, but that obviously didn’t work out. Oh, and we can stop calling it Quentin Tarantino’s Manson movie.Variety says the official title is Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. Quentin released a statement about Brad and Leo’s casting news:“Both are struggling to make it in a Hollywood they don’t recognize anymore. But Rick has a very famous next-door neighbor…Sharon Tate. I’ve been working on this script for five years, as well as living in Los Angeles County most of my life, including in 1969, when I was 7 years old. I’m very excited to tell this story of an L.A., and a Hollywood that don’t exist anymore. And I couldn’t be happier about the dynamic teaming of DiCaprio & Pitt as Rick & Cliff.”It’s still so up in the air about who will play Charles Manson in OUATIH, and I know Quentin wants Brad for this stuntman role. But I kind of think Brad would be perfect as Manson. For one, it doesn’t take Brad very long to grow a scratchy scraggle beard. And I know Brad has the power to charm people into a cult-like following. I mean, go back to 1994 in your mind to Interview with the Vampire and Legends of the Fall Brad. I personally can think of at least ten Brad-obsessed teenage girls I knew that absolutely would have robbed a bank for him if he asked.Pic: Wenn.comDlisted
